NCE - Full Time Programme

The Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) is the foundational teacher qualification in Nigeria. It prepares future teachers with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to thrive in classrooms and impact students positively.
Our NCE programme runs for 2 to 3 years depending on the course, and covers core areas like teaching methods, educational psychology, curriculum development, educational tech, and subject-specific training.
On completion, graduates are well-prepared to plan lessons, manage classrooms, assess learners, and inspire academic growth. The certificate is NUC-recognized and compulsory for teaching in Nigerian primary and secondary schools.
Admission Requirements
- Five O'Level credits including English and Mathematics in SSCE, GCE, or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 16 years at the time of admission.
- JAMB UTME score of 100 or above.
- Submission of valid SSCE or equivalent results during registration.
Registration Procedure
Registration is now fully online. Prospective candidates should visit our admissions portal to complete their application.
Application form is free. However, a portal access fee of ₦3,000 is required during registration.
After registration, applicants will be contacted via email or SMS for further instructions and screening dates.
Applicants can also log in after successful registration to track their admission status.
Scholarship Opportunity
Candidates who meet the admission requirements may be considered for the Alhaji Amusa Wahabi Omotosho Foundation Tuition-Free Scholarship.
The scholarship covers 100% of tuition but does not include registration and other administrative fees.
All scholarship admissions must be processed through JAMB CAPS. The offer is valid only for the current academic session.
